Chamber Orchestra

We are always looking for talented new players to join the chamber orchestra. If you are an advanced player with some prior orchestral or chamber music experience,  please consider joining us. 

Although we have most positions filled, we do need additional players both on a regular basis and, depending on the music we have scheduled and instruments needed for specific performances.  When needed, we will schedule auditions for seats.  In any event, the Musical Director has final say as to the suitability of any part or player.

When we hold auditions, music will be available in advance, or if you wish you may sight-read pieces. You may also bring a short piece of your own selection. Send email to <twetherwax@yahoo.com> if you would like audition music sent to you or if you would like more information.

You are welcome to join a rehearsal on Tuesday evenings from 7:15 to 9:15 PM in the band room (room 24) at Creekside Middle School, 19722 Center Street, Castro Valley. Sit in and play with us so that while you evaluate us, we can evaluate you.
